Me too when they arent LEDs stuffed inside a halogen housing
I mean, these guys here went and tested a bunch of LED's for cutoff and brightness compared to stock lights in both reflector and projector housings, so you aren't just randomly buying LEDs and hoping to not blind people:

Upgraded mine to the Nineo IIs at the top of the cheap list, and I can confirm that the cutoff pattern is almost identical to the halogens I had in there before, but now I actually have light going down the road. And even now, with our roads completely covered in snow, it isn't blinding.
There are a lot of garbage LED light upgrades out there, especially the earlier ones, but as of late most of them have been trying to put the LEDs at the same place that the halogen bulb emits its light so it is just a drop-in replacement.
Would a projector upgrade for the vehicle be better? Probably, but I'm not about to spend nearly a grand (CAD) to find out, when the bulbs were ~80 all in.
