If you want to have something that shoots .223 sorry 5.56 nato that is not an AR-15 but that is still simiauto look at the Ruger mini 14. I don't know if it is restricted from the list but it is a good varmint rifle. Here is a list of restricted firearms here

And that’s not going into the prohibited list

Your also forgetting the 10 year prison sentence they will receive and no longer be able to own firearms because of the felony conviction they will be blessed with. The "gun show loophole" is bullshiat. What does happen though is you meet another private citizen at a show start talking about guns and arrange a sale that way. Any gun dealer that sells you you without a background check will get their FFL yanked in a heartbeat.
With your boss named Joy. Or an Oh Joy dinner with the boss tonight situation?went fishing. Caught 2 nice bass. Now time to go to dinner meeting with my boss. Joy.

yum Ham and scalloped potatoesThe mother inlaw is making ham and scalloped potatoes for dinner.
Nope, licensed people have a nice little card that says we are allowed to buy guns, and what type (restricted vs non). For non, it is 'ask to see card, exchange gun for money'. For restricted, you have to do a transfer of ownership request with the police, but still do not need a dealer involved.I take it up there that private citizens are only able to sell to a dealer or a dealer has to facilitate a sale between citizens?

In TX private sales are cash and carry and only ffl holders must submit background checks, so there are "gun show loopholes" depending on the different state laws..View attachment 11057

Private sales doesn't count towards gun shows. If you sell a firearm privately you better watch your ass because if it is used in a crime of the person you sell to is a felon its going to be your ass. A good rule for private sales is to do it through the shariffs office, if the buyer declines to do that then your most likely better off moving on.In TX private sales are cash and carry and only ffl holders must submit background checks, so there are "gun show loopholes" depending on the different state laws..

I've got bills of sale for the three guns I've sold privately. Including serial numbers, buyers name, date, and signature. So if any of those guns are used in a crime I can show it wasn't me.Private sales doesn't count towards gun shows. That being said if you have a current Ohio CCW permit you don't have to go through the background check. You walk in with a ID your CCW permit and lay some cash down and walk out with your firearm.
Yep, with a CHL, TX' concealed permit ya don't have to do any BG check at an FFL either. I've bought more than I can remember from flea markets and gun shows when I was in TX. Here in CO you have to get/do a BG check for everything except concealed permit holders.Private sales doesn't count towards gun shows.
