I log into my bank account daily, and only from my home computer, never my phone. Anything weird, and I'm on the phone ASAP.... I've been had a couple times, but never my whole account. My Credit Union actually tells you in every communication, that they will never call you and ask for your information.

Oh, that totally sucks. I've been battling a fraudulent PayPal credit line of about a year and a half now. I think I finally got it resolved in June.
A collector called in May and told me I needed to pay late fees or they would freeze my account. I told them it wasnt my account because I never opened a PayPal credit card. Whoever opened it used my SSN, so it was linked to me. They then asked a second time if I wanted to pay the late fees before they froze my account. I told them to f-off. Then hung up and called PayPal fraud department. It took a few day off phone calls, but I got the account closed and the credit line removed from my PayPal profile. Major PITA.
You can put a 3 month freeze an you're credit for free at TransUnion, https://www.transunion.com/credit-freeze. If a bank account or credit line is open with your name or SSN the bank has to contact you personally to verify it. You should definitely do that. I've been freezing my credit every 3 months for the past year...
