Now I get an email from "scamazon customer service" that says my account has been locked due to some clown in Indonesia ordering $832 worth of stuff at 2:35am using my account (which they processed against my credit card(s)), and that my present order has been cancelled until I verify my information with them.
How am I supposed to know security answers about my mother when I'm an orphan?? I mean she died 9 years ago.
What to do!?!!??? What to do???!!!!

Since every Gov't""""""" like's to waste money, why don't they have a police division that go's under cover and deliver's the illegally bought/scammed good's while posing as the delivery company so they can arrest them on the spot !! they say fraud is a billion dollar industry. What if they double or triple the jail time, wouldn't that make a few of them reconsider ? I had a friend and a relative go through that and they said it was a royal pain in the a$$ to get all new everything and get their credit restored.

For the most part what you say is true. In my case, however, I know for a fact it is a scam wanting my login, credit card info, and whatever else they can get. I NEVER respond to those emails by clicking an embedded link, I'll go to the website, in this case Amazon, and check things out there.
There was no actual purchase, no use of my credit cards (besides my card companies would have texted or sent an email and not processed the sale) it was all a phishing expedition to get my info.

So, anyone thinking of buying a yellow Xterra for doing a Titan swap? Mine went into the shop to get the front right hub replaced (stupid ball bearings), and it looks like most of the suspension stuff is done for (yay high mileage). Now to decide if I want to try to replace everything, or just buy a newer year with less miles, less rust, and less upcoming mechanical issues. And hopefully get lucky and find one that already has lift and bumpers done.
Not sure I want to go Titan suspension on it myself, it is my daily and only vehicle, and I don't do enough off-road to justify that kind of change.

I don't know how much rust you're dealing with but new suspension is a lot cheaper than a year's worth of payments.

At this point my mechanic friend is trying to put together a quote. I'm up in Canada as well, so parts cost more up here. There is also a bit of a piece of mind factor in it as I don't have a second vehicle, so I need one that keeps working and it is hard to find the time to have it out of commission working on it. A few of the engine things are getting to the point of needing to be done as well.
I'll keep you in mind if I do decide to sell. Might even find a clean one in BC to replace it with, turn this into a vacation...
Would love to have it go to a fellow Yellow owner, but I'm sure I would miss the color.
At this point, everything is a big maybe. Gotta run numbers and see what is feasible/practical. Likely won't be doing anything for a few months anyway.

My first gen is nearing the end of its expedition vehicle life, so starting to gather 2nd gen stuff to build one. I'm hunting for ones that are in decent shape but need the usual mileage stuff replaced.
