Grandfather sent money for my birthday and for Xmas. Now. The big dilemma. Do I split it for the kids, my wife and I or do I just keep it all and spend it on a potential new boom stick

I wanted another dumb garage door so it'd be easier to tie into my home automation system. Now I have to buy another $125 piece of software to make it work. But I don't have to run any wires.
Get one of the models that is wifi compatible then you dont need to get the internet gate way to be able to run the door from apps

This one is wifi / myQ. So that works out of the box. But I have a housewide automation system that ties everything together. Lights, climate, security, AV, all of it. All in one app. With an old garage door that only needs two wires to touch in order to operate, I can tie that in like it's nothing. But the myQ stuff requires special software to get it into that system. That's what costs money. But, I do save the hassle of running the wire. So time & materials wise, it might be a wash.

First half was pretty good. 2nd half didn't feel like Star Trek to me. Not a bad story, just not Kirk era Trek.

And Klingon nipples.

And for 'other means'... Plex server, OMBI, Radarr, Sonarr, Jackett, and 'other means' downloader.

Jackett manages the connections to the 'other means' searches, Radar and Sonarr request from Jackett and tell the downloader what to get, OMBI is a slick request interface to Radarr and Sonarr. 90% of my doings is through OMBI, with a little bit of priority juggling direct in the downloader itself.

Probably not explaining it well, but I'm trying to obfuscate a bit for a public forum.

Im not a huge fan of Sonequa Martin so I struggled with it at first. That being said, I did watch the first five episodes or so, and really loved it.

Next Generation > Than all others, but I give each a chance.

DS9 is up there. Great stories and the first trek to really attempt a serial story. Enterprise S3 is also up there for that reason. But not the first two seasons.

I watched three DS9, and couldnt click with it. But I started it right after i finished TNG so I was still in Picard/Riker mode. Maybe ill give that a rewatch.
