My dogs leak gas worse than my wife buutttt daughter#2 is like a natural gas well that bleeds off quite a lot. That is how she got the nickname of man tutes.

Get some pipe wrenches and some thread sealant and fix it yourself.

Shut all gas valves to appliances, Take apart the meter, fill it with 5psi of air, soap every joint with soapy water

A guy from the gas company tested it for leaks I was at work but my wife was here. he tested for leaks and told my wife that there was a leak but did not tell my wife where. I came home and there was a red tag on the pipe. I called the gas company and tried to get more specific information but they would not give me any. All that I know is that there is a leak and this was the line that the tag was hanging on.
The areas circled I did not see and pipe dope so I'm suspecting it's one of these areas. My wife said the guy was an ass and was not happy because the boy was wanting to watch him so she took him outside to play.

Your leak is probably from the displaceable stem valve. Change it. Could be seeping from the union too.
