What kind of switch are us using for what kind of load? I only ask because if you're using a full size Carling switch, they're rated at 20A so if you're doing yor two small LED bars, you can eliminate the relay and just switch the bars directly through the switch. Also, the dimming function of the dash lights actually operates off of the ground. So while normally ground is ground, if you want the switch to dim with the rest of the dash lights you need both the hot and ground from the illumination circuit.@Prime. Does this make sense and will ufck this up by connecting the grounds together like this ?

Mine, my sons and my wife's birthdays are all with in a few weeks of each others. So we do a big party for all of us together. This year we are expecting 80 plus people to make it through our gates this weekend. There will be a bouncy castle and other games for the kids. I will be cooking a pork shoulder over the fire and a very large turkey that I will be butchering tomorrow night that we raised. It is a really fun get together. We usually end up with 3-6 campers set up in the yard that friends stay over in. This is the 4th year going this big. It is a lot of prep, but it is a lot of fun. Just have to be careful as I usually start drinking when I start the pork shoulder around 8:00am.
