Alcans don't play nicely with stock shackles. Also, order an inch higher than you want. Ask me how I know.

I got lucky and adjustable shackles saved me, so I didn't have to replace my Alcans when I TS'd

Same. Alcan's finish is terrible. I plan on pulling them and painting. I have to change my bushings and add the aal anyway

What shackles are you using?

I have 2" +400. Bill at alcan wanted to put me at +600. Thought that was overkill, so bumped down to 400. I'm at about 3" in the rear with prg shackles on the 2nd hole

You have never had good bear then. I have had some absolutely terrible bear. But this fall bear i got is one of the best ones I have tasted. It has changed a few peoples minds on what bear tastes like.

Ok. I'm set middle holes shackles and on my +3" alcans. Front is just a hair over 2.5" lift. Me thinks you're forgetting ever inch in the front = 2 in the ass
