so we got over 8" of rain last night. shiat is all messed up in the area. even the gravel pit we go to for work on rain days has a truck ban for the day.
lots of people's basements did not far well last night. our sump pumps were doing double duty. the back up kicked on a couple of times when the main couldn't keep up. roads got flooded, dogs and cats running down the road paw in paw, you know typical chaos and what not.
