I wonder if you didn't get some bad tires or had a bum running the balancer. I've had to have tires rebalanced before because the dummy running the balancer kept screwing up.
I actually pulled ALL the weights and they rode smoother until I could get to a competent shop.

I'm thinking about AT3s for my next set. The STT Pros have been fantastic, but I don't need mud tires out here. The only thing I'd be giving up is digging in loose snow.

I don't need mud tires here. I run out of the ability to keep my tires touching the ground a long time before I need more aggressive tires.
The one time I've needed mud tires because of mud, was both avoidable and not justification for the added cost.

Warren Haine's was fanufckingspectacular . Half of there extra loooooooooooooooong set was a 50 year anniversary nod to the Dark Side of the Moon album played in it's entirety with there twist on it !! Thus it was called " The Dark Side of the Mule tour "
I've been going to show's since 76 and this was probably the tightest sounding music I've ever heard
