No really, I'm used to going out off the TX coast and when you head out for bigguns it's usually about $1500-2000 up to 6ppl.

This week's Futurama. I really wanted to like it. Based on the title of course. But the entire thing felt like it was trying too hard. And then there was the credit gag. Making me think that there was a secret story the whole time. Which I saw parts of but not enough to get the joke. And then they had to bring up Ivermectin (which was also tedious). I wasn't a fan of this one.
I loved it, especially how I was expecting their to be a lead up, but nope, straight into this blur that was probably 20ish years of oppenheimers life so his genius could be demolished by politics, never trust a politician robert, even a simpleton like me could have told you that

it’s funny because it’s true. (Disclaimer - I have never been a fan of any country musicians that started after probably the 80s). But it just seems like folks from anywhere are the current ‘country musicians’ making formulaic music that harps on simple concepts to become popular. And with no regard for the classic G C D (and sometimes Em) progression. Again, not any kind of big country fan or expert, and blowing most of this out of my ass.

Power outage since 5p. Got home ~6p and wlmade it through takeout dinner by 8. Decided to start reading a compilation type book of old Spider-Man rags. The old style of having the character be the narrator took a minute to get used to. But overall pretty good so far.

I was expecting more about the Manhatten Project, I've visited Los Alamos and the museums, and so I didn't know what happened after the development of the bomb. That said, I did find it very interesting regarding his life and what did happen both before and after. A very good movie.
Haven't seen it yet, but that's what I'm told. This is more of a political/personal drama as opposed to a scientific drama of the bomb.
Fat Man and Little Boy should scratch that itch if you haven't seen it yet. I remember seeing a movie around the bomb testing as a kid, but can't remember which it was. There was another film I saw somewhere that was all the test explosions (us and soviet) set to I think Mars, Bringer of War that ended with footage about China gaining nuclear weapons. You know, the random stuff you'd find on cable in the 90s.
