Guadalupe to me was Deff the better, comal had some man made rapids to make it fun but way cooler and more scenic on the Guadalupe

Yah, we dont have many shops around here anymore, and most of them are more into the hunting and tacticool stuff, not much of the reselling older things. And the local Cabelas seems to have people that know the value of guns...

Sad thing is these old school battle rifle from other nations use to be had a dime-a-dozen. I've started numerous friends on those rifles for cheap or nothing and regret ever getting rid of one.

not to sound like a "Fud" but vintange rifles are fun as hell to shoot and I'll probably buy 10 more before i get a modern rifle. that and im a huge history nerd so yeah.

I think history definitely plays a part in it for me. And rare ones are even better.

Ive got an old 1911 Ross M10 straight pull sitting here that I picked up a few years ago, they were the service rifle for Canada in WW1, but nobody has heard of them as they werent the popular Springfield or M1...
