Power button is starting to get wonky on my S10e. I don't want another phone. Swappa has mint S10e's for $200. That seems reasonable.

AT&T tells me I can get an S23 for free. But. I really don't want a new phone. I like this phone.

I'm very quickly coming to the conclusion that all new phones are garbage. All they seem to like to do is remove the useful features, and then copy that stupidity from each other.

Agree. The S10e still has an SD-Card slot and a headphone jack. I do keep stuff on the SD-Card. But with cloud storage for photos, that's largely gone the way of the Dodo. And I can't think of the last time I used the headphone jack. My only REAL sticking point is swapping a capacitive fingerprint reader for an "in screen" one. When it's been proven over and over that the in-screen readers just aren't as discerning.

And I won't make the jump to iPhone. I just won't. The next time mom needs a new phone I'll tie her old one to my appleID so that I can manage the kids iPads and watches better....but I couldn't stand to use an iPhone every day.

In other news, this power button issue on my phone is going to get REAL old REAL fast. I don't have time to hold the button down for an entire second. When it clicks, I need to be assured that the phone is locked and screen is off. But now a short click changes nothing. It's turned into a click and hold.

Even my gobbledamn phone doesn't listen!
