I know it's a MAD rendering. Can't figure out of who though.@Fromfrontier2Xterra knows this dude for sure. Age is a bitchView attachment 22047
That is Alfred E. Neuman, and you put some respect on him.I know it's a MAD rendering. Can't figure out of who though.
So much truth...
Does the switch have a dedicated and marked uplink port? Possibly one that is marked to the port next to it?Why is things difficult? So I'm putting in this switch, got everything on the entrainment center with an ethernet port wired, so far so good...
Everything connects fine, EXCEPT THE F'N XBOX 360. It's claiming it can't connect to Live, and it's asking for port forwarding from the router, whatever port forwarding is. And it's a router Lumos installed so I have no idea about getting into the settings.....
GAH!

Just checking. I see one cable without a link light. That's probably your Xbox. Bad cable or settings in the Xbox. It might turn off the ethernet port if it's connected to wifi.
The XBox is turned off. It lights up when you turn it back on. Blu-ray player does the same.Just checking. I see one cable without a link light. That's probably your Xbox. Bad cable or settings in the Xbox. It might turn off the ethernet port if it's connected to wifi.
Just trying to diagnoseThe XBox is turned off. It lights up when you turn it back on. Blu-ray player does the same.
Totally emotionless replies from me when troubleshooting man. Just stating facts.Just trying to diagnose
The router feeds some air-ties routers for mesh wi-fi around the house. No issues on the Mesh but I've had port forwarding things for a desktop but it wanted forwarding on the wi-fi and didn't ask for that on a LAN connection straight to the router. If the Xbox was connecting via wifi, there shouldn't be anything wrong with it wired in... unless the router is separating the wireless and wired connections, and the settings are different...
How much you asking, and what does it need?I'll sell you an 06, just come and get it. Needs a little bit of work...
I read that with a quick glance and though it said MILF.Well I decided to eat my dinner [ Steak/tater/green bean's and sautéed onion-shroom ] while reading thru the new post's on XN. I knocked my MILK over and not a single drop went any where near the keyboard
On the downside next to the computer table is a 3 tier shoe rack So some leather boot's /shoe's got a 2% milk bath inside and out
I'm sure ufcking glad I keep my shoe's on the shoe rack by the front door
I havent decided on a price, that partly depends on if I can get it running well soon, or if someone just throws me some money and takes it away...How much you asking, and what does it need?
Mmmmm.....beer cheeseOpened up that mad elf beer cheese I posted the other day. It's pretty damn tasty.
Did you fix it yet or get too drunk and start smashing things?Totally emotionless replies from me when troubleshooting man. Just stating facts.
Haven't touched it. Everything else is hunky dory so just letting it ride for the time being. Not like the 360 gets a bunch of use anymore.Did you fix it yet or get too drunk and start smashing things?
Never used the pass through. I think there's a special crimper that cuts those you need to use.Haven't touched it. Everything else is hunky dory so just letting it ride for the time being. Not like the 360 gets a bunch of use anymore.
How do you guys trim the excess off the pass through style RJ45 connectors?
By not using pass through connectors.Haven't touched it. Everything else is hunky dory so just letting it ride for the time being. Not like the 360 gets a bunch of use anymore.

This is the way.Never used the pass through. I think there's a special crimper that cuts those you need to use.
Just go old school it takes some practice but you can make ends that look damn near machine made if you do it enough
