@TerryD, Sup with that axle?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Fine fine, I guess that's enough teasing.

It's a buddy's. He had a local Nissan dealership replace the pinion seal. Well, somewhere in Utah (I think it was) he realized they had crushed a pinion bearing putting it in.

He was going to have it repaired at Nissan's expense but couldn't find 3.69 gears (apparently Nissan doesn't offer a MT Frontier anymore so they are no more). So, Nissan bought him a used axle and put it in (poorly I might add).

He had them ship this one back and I picked it up from the shipper today. When he gets back, we're going to dig into it and see if we can just replace the damaged bits and make it a runner.

Maxtrax are over .5” taller than Tred Pro and just tall enough to not be able to slide into my rack with the RTT on. I’m so angry right now. Now to see how much money I’d lose returning them.

Man, you are a total tease!

That's my M226 with the 3.69 gears that seem to be made of unobtainium!

Pinon bearings started making noise in New Mexico. Now its home safe in VA waiting on TerryD and I to tear it apart.
I'll post a full rundown of the dealership drama in my soon to be started build thread.

Thanks again for picking that up for me Terry!

My family is Trying to start back up an old tradition my grandma had of us eating on Saturdays. Instead of every sat, just once a month. Its been a great day.

However.

The elephant in the room is where did my felon cousin get this car and should we expect the police. Wouldnt be the first time he was picked up during family lunch.455A3239-0991-4FBD-B429-C2133B536316.jpeg28986BE6-2D0F-4332-83E4-B1E216B3079F.jpeg

The plow driver here has a viscous passive aggressive side to him. The neighbours ex ( biological father to the kid) was parked on the street while the pole driver was trying to clean the 1-2” of snow that fell in the last 24 hrs. Anyways. He just pushed 3 and a half feet of snow into their driveway to be able to drive around the guys car and kpeptide clearing the street

now bf of the house next door is trying to clear that compacted snow out of their driveway with a plastic scraper.

Family tree research is fun and interesting as hell. I pretty much knew the tree of my surname but starting looking at lines from the females and maiden names. I have even more Irish and surprisingly Scottish in me.

I trace back to lines of Duffy, O'Rourkes, McManus, and Lyon on Irish end and Jameson on Scottish end.
