Scrubs is one of the greatest shows in television history. And not one of you can change my mind about it.

/but only 8 seasons
//there is no season 9

I wish i had gotten into scrubs back when it was new. Im trying to watch it but its dated and I cant seem to get rolling on it. My brother swears its one of the greatest shows too. All eight seasons are perfect he says. Im just not seeing it. Ill try again.

Ok. So. Yes. You're right. It does feel a bit dated now. shiat. It was 20 years ago.

I've been listening to the Fake Doctors Real Friends podcast. Which is Zach Braff and Donald Faison recapping (in order) one episode of the show and talking about it.

There's a problem with it on the streaming services. Music. The music is a huge thing in the show. It invokes nostalgia, completely outlines some of the more important scenes. It's one of my favorite parts of the show. The use of the music was genius.

Apparently the rights that they secured for most of the songs they used when the show was new didn't extend to streaming. So they've had to replace a lot of the songs with different ones. Which, as you can imagine, completely ruins some of the more important moments of the show. The only way to get the original music is on the DVDs. So that's terrible. It's also why I have all of the DVDs.

I digress.

One of the reasons I got into the show was at the time I was in a really toxic relationship. Very similar to Dr Cox in the first two seasons. Where you hate yourself and the other person but you keep doing it. That character really resonated how I felt about my situation and the world in general. Combine that with the absolutely brilliant writing and acting and the entire show was just so fantastic to me.

Its one that I rewatch yearly. And I feel like it really holds up.

Can you Canadian fellas suggest any companies that make a good wool blanket that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

Figured I'd ask the people in the coldest climate haha.
I have a couple of these HBC blankets.
They are the nicest but cost an arm and a leg new and sometimes more for a good old one. Luckily I found mine over the years at garage sales and thrift shops for cheap. I will ask the wife if she has any lines on a good inexpensive option.

Its funny you said that. My brother said something similar about how he watched scrubs during a really bad time in his life and it was basically his sanity saving as he related to one of the characters too. I HATE when shows change the music. I mean, I get it. But i hate it.

I want some ufcking snow! We haven't had a dam flake yet this year.
Way too warm this year..... and dry. Can't remember another year when several ski areas couldn't even get the Ribbon of Death open for Thanksgiving.
