Reminds me of turkey bacon. You think it’s healthy but it’s not. Center cut bacon (which I prefer taste-wise anyway) is better for you than turkey bacon. The pork center cut (even thick sliced) is lower in fat, sodium, cholesterol, etc per slice than turkey bacon, but turkey bacon shows lower numbers on the package by making their serving size two slices instead of three like regular bacon.

Turkey bacon is marginally better for you numbers-wise vs regular cut bacon, but just barely. For the taste/consistency trade off it’s not worth it.

Same with ground turkey. Ground turkey breast is better for you than beef, but regular ground turkey can have cholesterol and sodium levels higher than ground beef. Again all depends on brand, lean %, etc, but turkey farmers at some point in the past pulled a fast one by getting everybody to believe it’s an automatic healthy alternative to other meats.

Wife's car needs another wheel bearing. The tone ring broke off it.

Then I started working on replacing the oil cooler gaskets and lines on the GMC. The gasket under the oil filter adapter is petrified. Gonna have to get some gasket remover to get it loose.

Also got my shock skids painted. That sand blasting cabinet is so nice!

I went to look at an American bully yesterday she was built like a rock and well behaved with the kids. Filled out all the forms to adopt her. I called the apartment office to let them know the dog warden was going to call them and they were asking her breed and everything then asked about how much she weights I told them she was 79 pounds and they go dogs in an apartment can't be over 50 pounds. I'm going to myself so your telling me that the German shepherd living upstairs is 50 pounds. I think I'm going to go look at another dog today. This one weights 54 pounds, if I get it I will just lie and tell them she weights 49 pounds

I breffus there about 3 day's a week and have been known to hit it between happy-hour and last call .
If I was smart I'd open up a Wawa franchise in between 2 bar's . Well that and semi-rich . Lol
