And ended up adding to the arsenal. Chas wanted to get a Mossberg for a booger monster gun, and accomplished that mission, w/ a pistol grip included. Now we just need the Zombie chainsaw addition for it, and it'll be perfect!
But my .38 is too big for a carry sidearm, plus it's a revolver, which actually works great for me for "non thinking automatic firing" - but - it's limited. So I scrounged around at the gun show 'til I found a grip / backstrap / feel setup that worked just right for me. It was great, kinda like Goldilocks and finding just the right chair! I can't / won't go all the way tiny compact - I just hate giving up that much accuracy, and even tho' I'm a girl, my hands are too big for them.
This is the compromise I ended up with:
Put about 50 rounds thru it last night - and I definitely gave up some accuracy over the SR9, but it'll do the trick. I just need to get better with it. It's definitely got more kick than the compact and full-framed SR9's too - but it's not bad. Not as bad as the .41 magnum I used to carry / shoot all the time.
Me likey!!! :kewl:
