That's really the key with drop in LED bulbs. You have to make sure that the diodes are hitting the right part of the reflector in order for them to be effective.

I feel like I have them in the best place but I could be wrong. If nothing else I can play around with the mounting depth a little but I don't have that much room to do so.

any update on the LEDs in the Hellas?

Yeah, I am not going to have the time to get them going correctly so I think I am going to go back with the incandescent bulbs and offer the lights up to anyone who wants to try this.

As a heads up, this is not a simple plug and play swap. The spacers I have work but are not that great as they are not apt to pressure (they are made of foam, so they nicely bend when pushed from a side.. That being said I have knocked two off center. The other issue I had was to mount them at the correct depth. They need to hit the reflectors right and I do not have the time to do this.

Sadly, I don't think I can finish this mod.

Picked up some shocks from Ryandrew, those will be installed at some point. My zombie sticker came off.. funny how stickers wont stick to bedliner.

Then it is on to saving for all the parts I need in order to make my NXM mods happen..

if u are looking to put stickers on bedliner in the future you just have to apply them and then use a heat gun to basically melt it on. I did that on my roof rack decal and it has held up great.

That is smart.. didn't think of that.. I was surprised at how long they lasted, but still not up to par. I think if I do anything again I am going to make a stencil and paint it on the fairing.. if it went bad a coat of bedliner would make it go away..

Cut up my fire extinguisher mount and made it more secure.. It's funny, when you have nothing to do modding the truck always sounds fun.

Although this feels like a pointless update. I hope that soon I'll have real news, this is almost tabloid status..

Niiiiiiice! Slow & steady, amigo. Gonna be such a smooth ride.

Haha slow and steady? I've been working on this thing for 4 years now.. But I picked up some rancho front shocks a long time ago, I might try to put those on as well.. I'm still running stock shocks all around.

Got the shocks installed, haven't driven it around yet but they look nice. I thought they were fro the 3in SL but with them being the same length as stock, I don't believe they are. Kind of disappointed about that one, just thinking that more rear flex would be nice, but I needed new shocks so it solves my problem but didn't fulfill the need.

I might post pictures, but they are just shocks, we all know what they look like.

Built a rear cargo storage thingamahjig to hold the spare tire under it because I didn't want to hold it under the truck anymore..

I shouldn't be left alone with tools and a free day.

I toasted my sub on the way back to my apartment.. I hope it didn't drag my amp to the grave with it.. If nothing else I'm back on the sub market looking for a new set up.. I'm thinking of turning my old sealed 10 in sib box into a ported box box for an 8.
