I'm fed up looking for tires online and finding some of the most sketchy-looking "dealers" online, so I figure why not help the masses while I'm at it...

I played treadepot.com vs discount tires... Treadepot is generally the lowest priced place I have found online.. I printed out their low price and discount tires beat it by a few dollars..

Dave nailed it... Over all i beleive discount tire is one of the better places to deal with, they price match everything, sometimes summit racing also has good prices

I've bought a couple of sets of tire and wheel combos from TireRack.com with good results. That's also where Chris got the wheels on the X from. They were out of stock so he called to see when they would have some. They said it would be about six weeks. He told them they were for my birthday and that would be a couple of weeks after but he'd order them anyway. He got a call about two and a half weeks later saying the wheels were in and would be shipping out the next day. They had done a rush order at no extra charge but didn't tell him because they weren't sure the supplier would have them made in time. They later sent him an email thanking him for the order and wishing me a happy birthday.
