ok, so, I want quality, as well as brightness, preferably some that last more than a year too...

the ones that I've replaced my foglamps with are nice and bright, but, they burn out every friggin year...drives me nuts...

they're HPX Xenon 6000K 65W lamps from Here

I've looked at silverstar ultras, but know they burn out pretty easily too just like these ones are.

I looked at nokya, but, they're 85W or 100W, and I'm pretty sure the factory wiring won't support either one properly.

what ones do ya'll recommend?

I swear by the Phillips Xtremes but will probably end up doing the true HID projectors being sold by hues32, one of the supporting vendors on thenewx.

Eh, it's not so much my headlights, it's the fogs for me, they're my "wide" beams...I've got hella 500's in my grille if I need distance...

Go HIDs on the fogs.....many of us running HIDs on fogs (not headlights) and no one seems to have an issue with that especially with flashing as you would with headlights.

I drove around on my HID fogs for a month, no flashes nor anyone complain. I had a friend pass me by on opposite side and he said he didn't notice

Hm....I hate to sink that much $ into em since they may not get relocated into the bumper I'm getting. RLC wasn't sure if he can set his bumper up to just relocate these or if I'll need to buy new fogs...

After being there and watching him build my bumper, I feel pretty sure he could make a mount for the factory lights to be relocated but he'd definitely need to have your lights in hand, not just dimensions to be sure you wouldn't run into any problems installing them. Since I didn't have my factory lights or the aftermarket lights I ended up using with me at the time he had to take and educated guess on where to put the mounting tabs based roughly on what other customers had used on bumpers for other vehicles. Turns out it was a perfect guess. Of course there was a lot of skill and experience behind that guess.
