Figured I'd start off with a welcome post.

Not an X'er yet but potentially will be one soon. Caught the bug from SnickerDoodle since I hang out with her and her boyfriend all the time and have been to a few events with them.

Currently have a 2006 Evo IX but will most likely be making the move to the X world soon. Figured my profile should represent what I'd like to get....a Pro4X would be the one I'd go with.

Yeah I've already started looking on Auto Trader and seeing whats out there. There's a few nice and fairly low mileage Pro4's in a reasonable area.

I know that I will regret getting rid of the Evo when I do but it's been a great car and I've had a lot of fun with it. It still brings a smile to my face when I mash on the gas pedal

Drbandkgb (the hubby) got an X...then I had to have one...we are an all Xterra family now...Stan and Francine aka Beauty and the Beast :)

Have fun shopping!!! And as you can see...if you find one that is ALMOST what you want..you can customize it to make it what you want :)

Ive already dealt with the mod bug with the Evo but I was able to keep it tame enough for daily driving(350awhp is plenty). I'd probably end up doing the same with an X, I just think its a little bit different of a mod bug. Once I'm in though, I'm all in.

I was also on CX before I actually spent any money. Welcome!

Just a word of advice, once you find out exactly what you want, don't compromise and jump on the closest one. Bide your time and get the exact truck you want. I did. It took 8 months, but it was well worth it.

I did the same thing when I bought my Evo. I knew that I wanted a black IX with no add-ons. The ended up flat bedding my car from Massachusetts to New Jersey.

I've been on AutoTrader and there are a few Pro 4x's in the area. Silver, Green, Red, and two Black ones. I definitely want a black or grey but since Grey isn't available I'd go with the black. The two black ones are both low mileage, one is right around 9k miles(not a certified pre-owned) and the other is about double that(certified pre-owned). I'd personally go with the lower mileage even though its a little bit high price but since I'm planing on selling the Evo and using that as a down payment, the price wouldn't be that bad. Only thing left to do is confirm that my buddy actually wants to buy it still and see what he is willing to pay. I'm hoping for $16k but I have a feeling it will probably be closer to 14.5 or 15k.
