I haven't modded my X but my bikes have been another story. Over the past 2 years or so I've kept my mod bug in remission, but I'm scared that I may have a relapse soon as I just traded in my 2000 SE for a 2012 Pro-4X.

I currently have 3 bikes in my stable, a Ducati Monster, SV650 and a ZX-6R.

My urban assault vehicle: 2002 Ducati Monster 900ie (Industrial Edition)
.

It started life as a completely stock 620, then....

Current modifications:

2002 Ducati Monster 900ie engine
Engine cases are stripped of paint, and polished
2001 wiring harness, ECU were swapped in to remove the immobilizer
Koso gauges model DB-01R
Power Commander dyno-mapped
Hi-mount SilMoto Megaphone slip-ons
Speedymoto pressure plate & clutch cover
Custom belt covers from Germany
5 spoke aluminum wheels from an S4
Aluminum swingarm from an S4
BrakeTech rotors
4 pad Brembo brakes from a 749/999
CRG shorty levers
Adjustable forks from an ST
ISRL billet lower triple installed. (also have the top, never installed)
Adjustable rear shock from S4
Matris 13 click top-mount steering damper
Cycle Cat rear sets and clipons with 1.5" rise.
DP Aluminum front fender (clear powder coated), seat cowl (clear powder coated), side covers and chin fairing

Gas tank was stripped of paint, polished and clear powder coated, Ducati wing badges from a vintage Scrambler installed onto gas tank using threaded inserts which were brazed into the tank

Hella Micro DE Xenon Driving Lights, under a Canadian gas mask. HID ballasts are installed in the airbox

Ducati Monster European light switch installed (this allows the rider to switch the lights off)

Custom lowered seat with gel pad insert (I'm vertically challenged at 5 foot)

LED turn signals, integrated brake light as well from UFO.

Many other little goodies.

This bike has gone through a few renditions.. here was my urban camo spray paint job I did on my tank for when I rode it on the track. Everyone loved it so much I kept it for for a few years.

the last tear down in which we replaced the wiring harness with one from an older pre-immobilzer Monster.

This is what it looks like in it's current configuration. It won Best Modified Ducati at the Red Bull Indianapolis MotoGP event in 2009.

Now you can understand my avatar.

I used an orbital sander on the sides of the tank and left the other areas polished.

Here you can see the brazing of the gas tank showing how it was fabricated at the factory.

Next I got my track/street fighter2004 Suzuki SV650 which I got to ride at the track so I wouldn't worry about trashing my Duc. It ended up pulling double duty on track and the street, I can switch in between in 5 minutes. It ended up being a great bike after the suspension upgrades. It handles great and would be perfect if it had the torque of my Monster.

Current mods:
2006 GSXR 750 front forks
2006 GSXR 1000 top triple
2003 GSXR front wheel w/ 320mm rotors
2006 Yamaha R6 brake calipers and master (Brembo) w/ stainless lines
Moto-Wheels clip-ons
Pazzo shorty levers
Koso gauges
home made front wheel speedo mod
TwinShack bellypan
Gilles rearsets
lowered 1" in back, 1.5" in front
Hayabusa rear shock w/ 2006 ZX6 spring
Scorpion Xtreme street slip on
UFO streetfighter headlight
rims powdercoated black w/ edging clear
rear fender eliminator
OEM seat cowl

The 3rd bike under my care is my track bike. A2009 Kawasaki ZX-6R Monster Edition. This one started out as a stock Monster Edition, it was my boyfriend's and all the modifications were done by him. I swapped a 2007 GSX-R 750 for it.

mods:
Matris rear shock
Factory Bodyworks plastics painted white and black
Puig windscreen
Dan Kyle modified steering damper
Woodcraft clip-ons and rear-sets
quick turn throttle mod
shorty adjustable levers
Akropovic mid pipe
Hot Bodies MotoGP slip-on
Lightweight race battery
stainless brake lines
R&G axle sliders
Woodcraft frame sliders

The only thing I added was green tiger stickers (I'm a zookeeper and work with tigers)

That Duc is a thing of beauty. I've wanted one for quite some time. Yours is easily one of the best looking Monsters I've ever seen. I especially dig the urban camo paint.
