Bought an X
already did the mod but this would be great. nice job!
I'd be interested on one.
Howdy. This sounds great. I have a 2012 Titan Pro4X and would love to do the mod. Can I get on your list? Thanks.
Soon there will be a plug n play option for those that want to have full control over their factory locker. This interface will plug in between your chassis harness and the "computer" that controls your locker. This is based on the mod that doesn't give you warning lights and does not require extra switches or relays. It uses factory style connectors, if you can work a locking style plug, you can install this thing. No wiring work required. I currently have parts to build 5 and am assembling the prototype for a local X that does not have the wiring mod.

Please add me to the list as long as you are willing to ship to AZ. Thanks!

Thanks

Is part of the R&D to make it a very small thing and get the connections as close as possible?
I haven’t been on the forums in years, but this is worth coming back over here for. Count me in.

Saw this in frontier group and had to get IN
If this keep's up you'll need to hire some staff At least a sexataryOn the list
I like the finished look as well, especially for a 'commercial' product. Look at some heat shrink tubing. You can use a paint stripper to collapse it, just don't get it too close or you can burn the plastic.
What about heat shrink on the middle section and leave the part where the wires flare out unwrapped (for lack of a better term)? That would leave the ends near the connectors free to flare out and wouldn't put stress on the wires as they go into the back of the connector
Just a thought...
So what is that now, 16 new members just to get on the list for this? Pretty impressive.
I mean, if someone wants to pay the extra, it’s worth having as an “upgrade” option... depending on price some might upgrade!I've thought about that. I'd need to install all of the sockets prior to running the bundle through the shrink wrap, but I would need to identify all of them prior to inserting them into their locations. I could do that with my meter. I am also thinking of a product we used to build harnesses that we called snakeskin, it's a woven expandable sheath. I am also trying to keep cost down.
Thanks for the input!
not going to lie, the forums are kind of out dated, and a question (if there isn’t already a thread) could be lost for a while, where as if your on social media, feed back is almost immediate. But for this kind of stuff, the forums are great! I joined just to get on the list for this, but also planning to make a build page when I get it started.
And since I don't "social media" and I hear about lots of ill informed responses that come from that particular platform of expertise, I'll just stay here, where I can search archived information.
Same, I've checked out the Xterra section on Reddit once before...I'll let someone else handle all the "what's the best lift" questions haha
Where am I on the list? What's the time frame? Not pushing, just curious.
