We we have been looking for a larger SUV to replace the 2 door Blazer we have owned over the past year. KGB decided she wanted a Gen 2 Xterra or Pathfinder..
We had seen a few Xterra's in our price range but every time we contacted the dealer.. BAM.. Just sold it.. This has been 2 weeks of hell for kgb... So last night on our way home we stopped at a local used car lot to check out a Black Gen 2.. Sadly it was only 2wd.. :( but what did we see across from it? A 2003 Toyota Sequoia SR5.. After test driving this thing it was hard to say no...

V8, Sun roof, Power everything, and 4wd This thing should make a good tow rig for the Xterra and a great family truckster.. I see they do make lifts for these too :)

I like these, a friend of mine had one back in Highschool, smooth rides.. and of course, David has to lift everything he has.. I am surprised that your house isn't on jacks.. just to say that it is also lifted.

Do they feel as big driving, as they look going down the road?
Not at all... That was Kelly's concern buying one vs a Gen 2 Xterra... The cat at the car lot was very cool.. Told us to drive it around and go to the local mall and park it.. So she could see its not as big feeling as you would think. She liked it after that.. Then the selling point was the rear window.. It rolls down.. That it wicked sweet..

It will be at nXm2.. Maybe I can get her to let me take it out lol

Nice looking family hauler. I've always liked them, but I just can't justify owning anything that big. Funny thing is, in my town, they seem to be driven exclusively by tiny Asian women. I never see anyone else in them.

It's been a while since I've seen one but Camburg makes a really nice uniball style UCA/Coilover lift package. It's a little steep @ ~$1500 but the fit and finish is really nice. I'm pretty sure that Total Chaos also offers a couple of different UCA's for Sequoia/Tundra.

For that price Dave it might be worth picking up. Then if you dont like it sell it.
