Estimated time to complete the project is about 5 hours with a few breaks!

First you need to figure out where you will be mounting the tank and air compressor. I decided to mount this where the stock spare tire carrier is underneath the truck.

Tools you will need:
Drill
Assorted drill bits
Metric wrenches
Screwdrivers
Extra wire
Female Quick connect
Male Quick Connect
3 FT of air pressure hose

First step is to take out the back cargo area cover and wet storage compartment. Sorry I forgot to take a pic of this. This is not too complicated.

Second is to line up your air tank and air compressor and mark the holes on the underside of the truck. This is pretty east but keep in mind that you need to have the air compressor close to the tank as the braided line is pretty short.

Drill the 8 holes out 4 for the tank and 4 for the compressor.

I then mounted the compressor up and the tank up.

After the tank and compressor are mounted up all you have to do is run the wiring. This is pretty easy to do except for the air line that runs to the gauge. This can kink pretty easy so be careful! You will also need to run a wire from the pressure switch/relay to the dash on/off switch.

Once you have all the wiring run then its just easy to connect it all up. The pressure switch/relay that mounts to the tank has all the wires marked for you from ViAir.

Connect up the rest of the hoses and lines to the tank. Also there is a pressure relief valve and a draincock that need to be connected.

Next step is to drill into your bumper. Drill a hole large enough to fit the 3 foot air hose into it. Connect the female quick connect to this.

MAKE SURE YOU SURE TEFLON TAPE ON ALL THE TANK CONNECTIONS AS WELL AS ANY AIR CONNECTIONS! If not it will leak.

Now you move on to the dash panel. Figure out where you want this mounted. Mount it up and connect the air line to the pressure gauge. One of the wires that you ran connects to the switch as well and then another line you will need to run to a power source. The ViAir dash switch done not have a ground since the ground is in the rear where the pressure relay/switch is. Connect it up and you should be done.

Check for any leaks in the hoses or lines. You now have a complete on board air system.

Awesome Marcin, glad you did this now I can follow this when I get my own OBA in....may mount it to the frame between the rocker panels since I don't have a rear carrier though.

Good Job, I love my air compressors back there too. The only thing I have left is mounting the pressure gage I have. Just a FYI my Viair switch/relay back there failed after 3-4months.

Yeah I hear that I may run another hose and put the pressure/switch relay inside.

No problem let me know if you have any questions.

What for? It sits so high up there under the truck I would have to rip out the rear axle on a rock first before the rock would get to the tank or compressor.

I don't deal with it here because we don't have "traffic" like you people do. All I know is that I've heard some crazy stories about people on interstates. But //end threadjack.
