Lost my password for cx that autoforums assigned me, we had like 3 passwords or something it was ridiculous, havent been able to log in over there in like a year, kinda lost my enthusiasm for it anyway. I got rid of my 4runner, picked up a 92 cherokee for the new toy

Well, welcome to the Nation! I also kind a lost my enthusiasm for CX, but it was rekindled here at XN. Glad to have you here!


Funny, I've been contemplating an older Cherokee as a trail truck, but something like that has to wait a bit. Jess and I are house shopping, so all my time and budget for mods are gonna go into the house when we get it.

Lets be clear, im not here to bash cx, i ran it for a number of years, and successfully, and enjoyed it. Until a series of personal tragedies kept me from fullfilling that role, during that time i merely lost enthusiasm for the job(combined with not being able to log in) Under my watch cx went from about one new post in a week to what was at its peak.

I hope thats not what this place is about, i came here bc i know a lot of the people here

Dustin, I'm with you. You and Jason did an amazing job building CX up to what it was. I never had anything against CX; I had simply lost my enthusiasm for forums in general, and forums that made me want to drain my wallet on stuff for truck in particular. XN has a bit of a different vibe, though, and it brought me back into the fold. It still makes me want to spend stupid amounts of money though. :)

Talk about resurrecting an old thread. I am back in the nissan game. Hit a rough patch for a while, sold the xterra about a year ago and several other things lol. But things are looking up and the future is bright! Also i have a 2014 frontier pro4x now, my new baby! Yes things have definitely gotten better!
