Fabbed Skids??

Hey I was wondering if anyone has fabbed their own skid plates? I know its pretty straight forward for the most part but im rather lazy when it comes to measuring things and what not and to be honest i dont wanna screw it up first go around. I want skids terribly bad so i can try to run blues at rausch creek but those boogers get expensive. If anyone has drawn or cadd plans that they are willing to share that would be lovely of you!

Did you do a mock up wit hardboard or anything? I was thinking of getting cardboard and cutting it out and then putting the holes where they need to be

I always use CAD (Cardboard Aided Design) on projects like that. Even when I use mechanical design software, I often print out templates on paper then glue them to cardboard to make sure the final design really fits the way I want it to. My wife teases me when I receive UPS packages and I'm more excited about the box than I am about the contents.
