BUMP!
I'll get a set if you pay for 75% of them.. Better than the two above me..

Tell you what - you cheapskates get together and pitch in on one set, and then you can each have them for part of the year!
Now, if anyone is actually interested in purchasing some headers, bump for a great deal!
I prefer the term college student to cheapskate thank-you

Sorry Im out. Just had surgery ana will be off for a week w/ no pay check. I did say i "might" be interested.
Just a couple points of clarity,
1. There is no fab work that has to happen, it is a bolt up modification.
2. The pre-cats do get deleted, and you do want to get a pair of CEL eliminators to put in at the same time.
3. These are a great addition to any first gen,
Xterra or fronty.
The stud kits I believe are included, i.e. all hardware required for the install plus 02 bungs in place...I think that's the same thing (?)
Don't think so. The studs can be re-used but if there is any rust on your truck you will break at least one of them. I want to have a full set just in case. I'm also guessing we will need upper gaskets and lower crush gaskets since AC says they are "recommended".

Also, we are getting the ceramic coated Thorley's right?
I didn't have any problem removing the original exhaust studs from the heads on my 2000 X but it has lived in the desert (not far from NMTerras) for most of it's life. You will most likely want to replace the exhaust manifold gaskets... mine were totally flat when I pulled the manifolds. You may be able to reuse the crush rings on the cats but they're pretty cheap and you will probably be buying the manifold gaskets anyways.

Yeah mine is pretty rusty, it came from Utah. I'm having a shop install mine because I just moved and don't have access to a torch, garage or anything. So for $30 I will gladly give them a set of new studs to work with. Along with all the gaskets.
Do you have a set of these on? How do you like them?
Wow, $30 is a great deal.
I just replaced the driver's side manifold (cracked) when I did a minor head rebuild a few months ago. I will probably go with DT long tubes at some point but I want to do it as part of a larger, complete rebuild of the exhaust.
^^^This is why I did not buy from AC a long time ago. Again, I believe studs, stud nuts and gaskets are included. Still not sure if O2 bungs are the same as CELs, but if they are, it's a complete package
(and thus a heck of a deal)
Send me those PMs, people...
OK, I thought so. So basically, my plan will be to install, and see if my check engine light goes on. If it does...CEL eliminators!
I have a code reader if you ever want to borrow it.
