Shock wont fit I think.. or no way to mount it...

I need to mount my Skid row skids ...

James will work with you man.. Just call him and ask...

You will see both a Gen 1 and Gen 2 bumper at nXm :)

I saw what he did for the 2nd gen in the build thread... I like the tube design and most of the lines. In my old age the round tubes have grown on me alot over square tubing. Since I'm gonna redue my rear bumper and sliders in round I gonna do a front to match. My intention is to have something different than the norm... It's an EGO thing my wife says...I say it's just a man and his toys...lol

I picked my front bumper up last Monday. I'm super impressed.

I like this picture I stole from Travis. It was taken the seXTERRA January Prentice Cooper ride. Black paint tends to hide the fine details of bumpers but in this one the mud and the lighting show enough of the angles and lines to see what a work of art James created.

I wish someone with a 1st gen, or 1.5 gen could take some time to run over there and just get the X measured for a rear bumper. Heck, I'll toss in gas money for someone to do that. I just can't justify a 5-6hr drive to get some measurements done.

I plan on getting a rear done by him. I was going to take it to my local guy but I'd end up with some jackwagon rear bumper that is just a piece. That being said, I am a while off from going up there

I think the rear is pretty simple to work from..
The design is simple... That's why I would think you could fab one based on it

If anyone wants something a little more durable than just paint on their RLC bumper, one of my customers, Jason at Auto-Cycle Powder Coating in Red Bank, TN (suburb of Chattanooga pretty much) took a look at mine and said he'd do them for anyone for $150.00 in black. Other colors may be a little more depending on his material cost. He has an oven big enough to do complete car and truck frames so the bumpers are no problem. His work is very good. You could drop it off personally if that's convenient or have James ship it to him then he'd ship it on to you when it's done. That would most likely double shipping cost of course. I don't know how much good powder coat usually cost but if I knew he'd do it for that price I would have gone that route instead of paint. I still plan to in the future. If anyone is interested I'll can give you his phone number and address.

There's a good chance I'll have a spare first gen rear bumper this week from a parts truck. If so I'll be calling James and sending it to him if he's interested.

I'll make someone a WHOLE pot of Dirty Rice if they would just go to RLC and let him take measurements for a REAR bumper!!!!

:w00t:

See. Now that's what I call an epic deal. If no one has done it by the next time I head to my mother-in-laws in Ohio I'll take that!

/already paid for a Shrock
//Worth it just for the rice

I've got a lot of work in the garage scheduled for the X: TB's, Diff Drop, 2"BL, Head Gaskets, Dual Batteries, train horns. About to order the Calmini HD steering. Gotta finish the storage/tool box run the wires for the Pilot switches, Fuse block and relays, reconstruct the rear bumper where the welds seperated(first time attempt at welding).

So my Spring/Summer with pretty full with stuff and why I say "IF".

I've just sent more stuff to James. He has a CAD file for the plate, and images of supports. But I still need to get the side hole pattern, and the frame mount measurements.
