Yeah, finally went by Obi's while I was in Richmond and picked up some stuff I've been meaning to get from him as well.

Dang that was a long drive but so worth it!

Oh shiat! How's Obi doing? Haven't talked to him in years. Did you tell him he should grace us with his presence?

Ordered 2" wheel spacers and cam bolt lockout kit from Z1 Offroad. Their wheel spacers are on sale right now.

Also ordered a set of bump stops to try in the front.

I guess the only thing I'm lacking is TREs. But I'm thinking I'll just do a Titan rack from a salvage yard with TREs intact to get the extra power.

Soon....

Wheel spacers, cam bolt lockout kit and bump stops are here.

They wanted $65 + $70 core fee for a Titan rack with 110k miles on it. Nope..... Gotta order TREs I guess and I'll be ready.

Talking with @IssacHunter last night and he made me s deal in some PRG TRE extensions so I'm gonna run them for now. I have a full set of spare Xterra TREs so might as well get use of them.

Getting close to go time. Who's coming to help me install this stuff and eat BBQ?

I'd be all over helping if I didn't live all the way across the country.

Didn't you put an ARB cover on the back axle ?
If so ;
I just ordered one from Z-1 . What gasket/sealer did you use
No gasket. Don't waste your money. Get the gray RTV. Follow the directions.

You have to cut a piece of the park brake cable bracket off to clear the locker wiring.

To be completely honest, I'm not a big fan of this cover. Best I can tell, you lose about a half pint of fluid capacity or so, the clear coat goes bad then the bolts loosen up because of it, and it's aggravating to fill and check the fluid level with.

Curious.... I love mine. Had it for many diff dragging miles...
I wheeled many many hard miles with stock steel covers with no issues and then I've fought to keep this $200 door stop sealed since day one.

Just like that $40 reusable diff cover gasket that didn't leak quite as fast as just pouring the oil out on the ground, I'm not a fan.

I have one of the diff skids now, I might go with a finned Titan cover and get rid of this one or look into one of the fabbed covers if anyone still makes them.

Man my lower control arm bushings were TRASHED. The sleeves are completely loose in the driver's side and one of them in the passenger side is as well. I wonder if anyone makes a good poly bushing kit for our LCAs?

The SPCs are still in great condition all around.

I cut the sway bar brackets off the Titan LCAs. I probably wouldn't bother doing it again. The welds are difficult to make nice cuts on.

In the morning I'm gonna wash everything really good and then start putting things back together.

I remember researching it and the only alternative I could find was the Delrin ones from PRG (write-up on the painful process). However looks like CJD also carries them now: https://cjdracing.com/products/lca-delrin-bushings

I didn't have to trim the fenders. The Energy Suspension bump stops off my old LCAs worked perfectly on there (top ring trimmed).

So to run my (Kinda) Extended length Rads with the stock Titan UCAs, I had to go back from my 7/8" spacer to the 1/2" thick spacer.

With that setup, my UCAs don't contact the coil bucket so I'm not going to pull my upper ball joints apart. Once I can get SPC Uppers, I'll be revisiting the spacers.

At full stuff, I still have about an inch of up travel left on my shocks before they touch their internal bump stop.

I could trim another ring off my bump stops and gain a little extra up travel. This is possible:

So now we go hunting parts again.....
