I grew up lobstering in Maine. At the time a trap, line, and buoy totaled about $100. When I asked my Dad how he remembered where all his traps were, he said just imagine each is a $100 bill floating in the ocean, you’ll remember.
Cost now is about double before you add high fuel and bait prices. Takes a lot more work to profit now.
