I actually started it a while back, (after I finished P90X the first time), but it was so super boring that I quit, lol. It just wasn't for me. I also didn't really like the fact that it was only cardio and no weight training. I really wanted to actually built up some more muscle and not just lean out.

I will have to say though, it really does live up to its name, "it's friggin crazy insane", lol.

I know right! We had a bunch of us get together during our down time and we were gonna do it for our workout. We got about 10 minutes into the first workout day and he was like take a break if you need it. We decided to take a poll instead and put the DVDs away.

Yeah he is but even that can't make me enjoy plyometrics day. I'm not knocking the workouts it just takes alot for me to keep my motivation up and going at their pace.

Hahaha, not me, I love Plyo, I can just so high now, that once in a while I actually hit my head on our ceiling tiles (about 7'10"), and I'm only 5'10" tall

I love it. The second time through, is much easier. (the first time though, practically killed me, lol)

When I get to the 3rd phase, (in 2 more weeks) I might start doing doubles again like I did last time.

1 hour of weight training
The ab ripper working out
The fun hardcore cardio X workout

All in the same day, 3 days a week, (about 2 1/2 hours strait training). The other 3 days you do the standard 1-1 1/2 hour workouts.

I just wasn't motivated enough last time and went back to doing regular workouts. So I'll give it another go if it doesn't work oh well I bootlegged it anyway.

I still haven't managed to get a copy yet. I knew getting a hold of the guy who offered to give me a copy would be difficult though :emmph:

It'll take me a while but I will try uploading it to 4shared. No promises though cause internet here is booboo.

Don't worry about it man. It's way too big for that kinda thing. I appreciate it though.

I'll get the copy sometime. This weekend he was on a skiing trip so I figure he'll be up for it tomorrow or sometime this week. I'll start hounding him hehe.

I did the whole P90X thing a few years ago, but I skipped the yoga days after a few weeks and went for a run and stretched instead. I was up to doing 30 pullups! But as soon as I started going back to the gym and actually lifting heavier weights I realized losing weight caused me to lose a lot of what I had to support the weight. I went from benching 275 to 255. I guess its still not bad for weighing 150 before and 140 after P90X. My goal for 2012 is to be able to bench 300

No squats? No lunges? Do you do any cardio?
Nah, I really don't have a need to do anything else.. I'm pretty fit. Just like to keep some up upper body strength over break.. Now that i'm back at school I'll be back at the gym 4 days a week.. M,T,TH,F.. Then I'll be doing everything again, squats, curls, butterfly, shrugs, pull up ladders.. I do a lot more when I'm up at school. That was just for the break.

Done with week 1 of phase 3. Only 3 more weeks and I'm done with this brutal craziness. (I mean this wonderful program they call P90X, lol)

As prep for basic in May I alternate every other day between 2-3 mile runs and 4-6 mile hikes with a 40lb pack. I also do some crunches, pull ups and pushups every day. Then on Thursday and Saturdays all the recruits get together and play rugby or go running, something like that. I wasn't in the worst possible shape a month ago, and I have a loooooong way to go still, but I'm feelin pretty good I must admit

I used to compete in body building a few years ago, the diet and commitment of having to go to the gym every day really took a lot our of me so now I just go to the gym for fun.

was it worth it? I literally just started to train for my first competition for next year. it's only a local show nothing big just something i've wanted to knock off my check list of things to do.

Yea the shows are deff worth it. I usually started prepping at 20 weeks out. It sucks big time, by 8 weeks out you are a mental mess, since your body will go through major hormonal changes. By the time show day comes around you are so ready for it to be over, and once it is over you will wonder where all the time went and how the day went so fast.

Advice, try to avoid any large parties or gatherings, the urge to cheat is just too much, plus having to carry a cooler with all your food starts to suck.

Surround yourself with really supportive people who will understand that you are going to act like a hormonal 16 year old girl at times LOL.

lol. i diet already and don't eat or cheat rarely as it is. and ya i don't drink or anything anymore either. got tired of it messing me up. mind asking what you weighed in at? i'll be competing at around 170-180 i think. at 5'11. the guys at the gym now that are preparing for saturday are begging me to give them carbs. lol i feel bad for them so i bring pasta and shiat to the gym and eat it in front of them. oh how it makes them so happy.
