I take it by the list you have the sliders on now? What about some sweet sweet pics?

Also do you still need to put your CB setup back on?

Sliders are on the list..they need to be bedlined first. Dani said she did hers on the truck and it was a PITA, so I'm going to do that pre-install. Might even get it done this weekend, if I don't work Saturday.

Oh lol I was looking for white knuckle on there....my bad.....I'm planning on getting some before WENT.

I would thing itd be easier to bedline before install. Might go with spray on because of the curves.

Roll on Monstaliner. Already been bought and delivered.

I went with Calmini. I wanted square tubing, plus Scott gave me a hell of a deal on them from 4WP.

It all sounds so beautiful. I personally like the calmini arms myself. I have the bump stops just keep forgetting to put them on, hah. To much of a pita.

Thanks Austin. This this is going to look SO different almost overnight, I probably won't even recognize it in my driveway.

Do ya think a gallon is enough to do a hood and two bumpers? (Front and rear)?

Doodle would be the one to ask about that.. She's used it before.

Nis, i could of sworn you had a BL already. lol

Nope, PML and 32s.

She's had it for a while. Had it sitting on the dining table that is

The wheels/tires I have now were enough to make me stare out the window longingly for the first month...

Yeah, my gf has caught me staring at it a few times. Dang thing is almost wider than my driveway now, lol.

Well not only did I pay it off, but I've spent ~$1000 in the last couple of months on mods and maintenance that has yet to be done...

If everything goes according to plan that'll be me around August/September time frame just in time for WENT.

FINALLY! Some decent weather...got some MUCH needed maintenance done this afternoon. Oil/filter change AND passenger side valve cover gasket.

This explains so much...

All buttoned up and running!

No more clicking valves/lifters, and **hopefully** no more oil spots in the carport!

Out of curiosity since I am having the clicking issue and have been for some time... It's obvious to see the valve cover gasket broke, which you replaced and said "No more clicking valves/lifters." Did you do anything else to alleviate the clicking? Or did simply putting a new gasket on relieve it? Mine isn't leaking oil or anything, just a good noticeable clicking noise.

When the valves/lifters click, that means it's low on oil. Don't run it like that for long. Replacing the valve cover now prevents the oil from dripping out, thus keeping oil on the valves/lifters...

If you're not leaking oil, then you're probably due for an oil change. I could always tell in my Pathfinder when it was time because you could hear it. It had 215k on it and would start clicking at around 2500mi. Generally I'd add a half quart of oil to get me to the weekend and then change it.

With my XTerra, it got so bad that I'd have to put half a quart of oil in it every time I got gas. That's how much it leaked.

Man, I wish you were... No wait, I wish I were closer (you think your weather is ****) long story short, I still have a job but supposed to be leaving it soon (within the next few months) and have a LOT of time on my hands. I would be more than willing to help you out with all of that stuff. I work for cheap too! Like pizza and beer cheap! :)

Hahahaha I like that kinda cheap!

I knocked one item off my list today (gasket), so it's a little shorter now..

After rummaging through the forums and finding videos of people with the ticking issue, mine is not nearly as pronounced as most of them were. I just changed my oil 100 miles ago, and always change it every 4,000 or so. Mobil1 high mileage, good stuff. That's a crazy amount to add though if you did that at every fuel up, yikes! If I had to relate my sound to something, it would be a taser with a fresh battery, a very rapid click that fluctuates with operating time and gas pedal depression. I mean, it runs fine and never gives me any issues, so maybe I'll tear into it one of these days to replace the lifters since I think that's what it is.

I digress... Sweet rig! Definitely a member of the stealth bomber squadron for sure! I am coming into possession of 33's and desert runners here on Monday, and in an effort to avoid copying you with painting them flat back, I'm opting for a gloss black. I was considering a red lip around them, but I like all black more.

Sweet! 2 years of running 32s and I'm regretting not buying 33s, so good choice there.

Flat black is the only way to go. Copy away!
