Nice! I recognized that idler arm because I was with Brian at URE a couple weeks ago and took photos with my phone of what he did. I am doing the same thing soon....but not going heims.

Looking good!

Heim issues/concerns/curiosities:

Is your rig a DD, or trail only?

Heims are not legal for steering in most states.

Will they be in double shear?

Did you plan on safety washers?

Are they PTFE versions?

I saw Brian's Frontier and knew I had to beef up my steering. Double sheer for the idler/pitman arm should help quite a bit in my case. I am curious to see how the heims will be used as far as double sheering the center link on the ends.

Idler and pitman arms like those would rock! If they worked with the Grasroots CL I have in the garage and were available now I would be getting them. Add the heim tie rods like Casey has and the setup would be hard to beat.

It looks like he just modified the existing idler, but looks like the pitman was cut and completely redone. I dont know that I would be too worried about the pitman arm bending easily but the idler is an excellent idea. I may have to rip this off. Might have to get ahold of Brian and get some info.

The twisting in the stock center link is horrible. I know I have discussed this with rob before, but I really think the weakness of the centerlink is what causes so much damage to tie rod ends and adjusters. The angle on the adjusters is pretty bad to begin with when lifted, but when you add the amount that the center link flexes into the equation your just begging to bend something when drooped. After replacing everything and getting the grassroots in I didnt notice any of those problems at ure a few weeks ago. And I pushed my truck harder than I ever have before. There were a few times I got out of my truck expecting problems but never had any issues other than landing my frame horns on some rocks on dickey bell.
