Been reading on them for a year or so the landcruiser guys have had no issues with the plastic. I'd spring for it if I had the cash.

i read the same thing on the landrover website about the plastics, i planned on painting mine anyway so i'm not to worried about the uv stuff. and i figured i could form it to where i wanted being plastic also.a little more curve to it if i didn't like how it sat on the pillar.

FF X, Did you plumb it yet...lookin to see what you did to get ideas for mine. I was thinking of just getting a K&N to fit the stock airbox until I figure a way to swap it out.

I want to see as well. I dropped a spectre filter into the stock airbox and am going to somehow do it that way.

No, sorry guys been busy. Only day I had off this week my daughter was sick so, stayed home with her all day. Also, found out we are haveing our secound child this week. I think tuesday will be the soonest I can get to it.

Congrats on the new LIL one!!! AND...Every now and then, there are more important things than a vehicle.

HOWEVER... unwrapped the snorkel to test the look of it...looks great, can't wait to start this mod. For those that are thinking of getting this, hose clamps need to be purchased to secure the head and inside tube connections. And the final connector (an odd shaped "U" tube) won't be used (I don't think).

nice man. it might be awhile before i get a chance to install mine lol. got a class coming up so its going to eat all my time since its in another county :/
