Haha! I won't be mad ;)

Ok good cause I still plan on doing it  Seriously though me and a buddy were looking at what I could do with these lights since I have more than enough going straight now.......So I was gonna mount them in around the same location pointing slightly to the sides but hidden from plain sight.

Haha that's funny! I've always looked at that yellow piece that sticks down amidst all the black and I needed to do something with it and my grandpa had these sitting around the garage and I had the wires for the OEM fog lights going to nothing so I thought, why not?! It lights more than you would think and it looks cool! haha

Here's the lame excuse of a video haha this was just meant to practice the recording, uploading, editing, and keeping it HD and as far as that goes it was a success. I'm probably gonna use a different video editor because of that stupid watermark in the middle of the screen. I don't know why I kept the video that long and didn't shorten it but it is what it is haha

If you guys wouldn't care and have a second (you don't have to watch the whole video unless you really wanna watch me ride through my boring town ;)) would you tell me what you think of the mounting location for the future off roading videos. I'd like to have it a little lower but the suction cup and bedliner wouldn't agree haha thank you guys! ;)

I think you're a terrible driver and hope I never have to ride with you. But I like the mount and awesome quality.

But did you die?? haha it wasn't that bad! I was too busy looking in the side view mirror making sure it hasn't fallen off and gotten run over haha

But thank you!

I like that. Right now they are wired to a switch that will control the bar across the top (wires already run and will do both) and I have the square Ironman LED's on the fog light switch, just to save a switch and it wasn't being used. So I might leave them wired where they are or move them to the fog light switch as well. It should be able to handle the extra load....16w led+35w on each side.....

I've actually never been.. I've heard it's more geared towards 4 wheelers and dirt bikes. Actually, right in town is The Flats, they've got some pretty wicked stuff there.. but their hours are really weird haha

I know a few trails in the county but they're pretty much not gonna be worth your drive up.. if you're already here it's good but not for the drive haha

Well I just watched your video.....my thought...

1) yep....I can find Casey's house now
2) You past a yellow Solstice around 4 minutes in. I have a modded one like it in my driveway....just sayin'.
3) What has happened to my life.....17 minutes lost and gone forever...lol.

Ok...more constructive stuff....

1) The quality is great!
2) 1/2 of my screen is yellow though
3) I'm thinking that the lens would catch alot of mud and muck there while wheeling.

I give this film 3 out of 5 stars...lol

If you watched that whole thing... I'm sorry haha! I was mainly just meaning for y'all to check out just enough to get an idea of the mounting location and it's view. I wasn't expected to win any Sundance awards for this ;)

As to the constructive, first off, thank you! Two and three, I definitely see where you're coming from and thought about those things myself.. I'm not sure if there's a completely perfect place to put it, but if there is.. I'm gonna find it ;) haha

I have found a pretty cool location underneath to catch some pretty cool suspension action. The more experimenting I do, the better the shots will be.

Oh you warned us ahead of time about watching it all. I just couldn't help myself....it's the yellow that does it....draws me in and I can't look away!! (Probably why 3 of 5 cars in my driveway are yellow...lol).

Actually, I thought it turned out great. Excellent quality and I was surprised how steady the picture is from suction cup mounts.

Haha! Thank you!

I was the same way! It's really good because I checked the mount beforehand and it was a little shakey but the video was good! The camera has the SteadyShot feature and evidentially it works! Haha

Impressive! I may have to check into that setup myself for slow-speed wheeling and fast-speed twisties in the roadsters (if I can keep straight which way to drive when.....lol)

I believe my lower ball joints are going bad. It was happening awhile back and then my CV went out. We replaced the CV and the creaking ceased.. until now I guess. I greased everything today but I haven't really had a chance to see if that will help. More than likely, I will be getting some new LBJs haha

If they're not greaseable, lithium. Silicon would be my 2nd choice. WD40 is more of a rust remover/penetrating oil than a lubricant.

PB blaster swells rubber. So if the sway bar bushings are still rubber. Stay away from it.

it wasn't the kind of pb blaster that you use to get bolts broken loose. it was a lubricant made by them. It was a silicone lubricant if IIRC.
