Thanks. No i am not installing a new axle. I am waiting on the SAW coilovers and extended axle shafts to arrive at PRGproducts so i can go meet up with Greg and pick them up. I have not gotten to run the nitto's because i am waiting on my wheels to be made from Pro Comp. The X is just sitting on jack stands waiting for parts.

Ahaha nice! I think you should add a pic of it shoe-less. :p
I bedlined my rocker panels. I quite like the look on avalanche X's (and it covers up all the scratches/dings I have down there). I have the 2.5 SAWs and love them.

Nice, I haven't been out there in awhile. Thanks a lot. Any good places to wheel out in Fresno. My buddy went to school at Fresno State but i never went there to wheel, just drink lol

Yea that is the exact reason why i want to bedline the rockers. Yea i can't wait to pick them up and install but then once everything is installed, i still have to wait for my wheels to be finished from pro comp then i will be ready to test everything out!!

It says all the parts i have ordered in my build. I am just waiting for greg to get all the parts at prg in sac so i can go pick everything up. My X is just sitting on jack stands waiting for the install lol Thanks a lot!

They are in Benicia, which is in the east bay. Bamf is Bay Area Metal Fabrication. You can look on their website. They make sliders for tacomas so i ordered the weld on 65" 2005+ single cab tacoma sliders with kick out. I then had a shop by my house weld them on. Bamf has asked me to bring my rig to them to have the sliders checked because there needs to be a few slight changes to ease mounting. They want to start production of sliders for xterras in the near future. They are currently busy completing builds for a tacoma group buy and are swamped.

thanks i may have to hit them up and see if they want to retail first gens. don't see very many companies around here do xterras. except calimini down south. i did see them on the taco website though. they had a lot of sliders ordered.....

Yea 84 sliders had to be built since black friday. I was number 7 so i got mine in mid-end of december. Lucky i had a modded tacoma years ago and still hang around on the tacomaworld forum since i still have friends with tacomas and fj's. Hopefully my titan swap parts and wheels will show up soon so i can head over to BAMF to mock something up for all you guys and gals.

Purchased Sunny1881's hunter offroad custom front tube bumper w/ winch. Just took it to get sand blasted and line-x'd. I will post up pics once i get it back and installed.

Yea sunny and i had been talking about the sale. I just couldnt decide if i wanted to drive out to Az where i could pick up this bumper and visit friends or just have it shipped. We settled on a price and i decided to ship the bumper and winch to save on gas since im going to be driving to Moab in May.

The bumper needed a new coat of paint and i decided hell with the paint and fading. So i decided to get it line-x which is more durable than the paint and wont fade. Also not many people line-x their offroad bumper so i thought it would be cool.

Sounds like a good plan. The line x is pretty thick compared to powder coating, my dephep is line xed. Pretty thick is a bad term though, it's thick when considering 1/8" wiggle room and such.

haha Thanks. Just picked up the bumper and it looks sick. I need to go purchase some new grade 8 hardware and a new alluminum fairlead because i want it red instead of silver. I left the winch and wiring at work so i wont be installing anything this weekend. Sorry no pics lol

I wasnt planning on purchasing the winch but i couldnt pass him up on his offer for the combo deal.

Yea the line-x is awesome. yea i like that it is thicker and stronger than powder coating.....seems stronger but truly dont know if im correct. Yea because of the extra 1/8-3/16" has made it that i need to sand down the inside of the bolt holes so all the hardware will fit again.

The alternator is extremely susceptible to shorting / premature failure because of its low mounting location and lack of protection.

Thanks!! The mud grapplers are loud but i dont mind lol Loud exhaust and loud tires!!!! Sounds like im flying a plane down the highway.
