Unknown Rumble

OK, so my 2010, with auto trans, has this rumble between 30 and 40 during light acceleration or coasting.

I did a forum search, and started posting in this thread, but after taking the X into the dealership twice for testing there is no solution.

The rumble feels like what is described for the tranny fluid problem - driving over the rumble strip on the road - but not as pronounced. The service adviser, service tech, and service manager have all felt it. However, they can't figure out what is wrong. They called their tech line, and only one other reported case of this (also unsolved) has come up so far. At this time both me, and whomever the other poor soul is, are supposed to continue driving until it gets worse or fails completely.

Anyone here have a problem similar to this, but not related to the fluid problem from this thread?

Check your radiator fluid.. If its milky your tranny is shot and so is your radiator..

ITs a known issue and the Nissan tech should catch it.. Thats if it is that issue

Just to throw this out there, I had the same problem with my 05. I kept driving it for a while and it got much worse. Started rumbling so much the car would shake. So, after this took it into the dealer and discovered that my front u-joint was barely holding on. Not saying this is whats wrong with yours but would be worth checking out from what I have experienced.

I did check the trans fluid myself before taking it in. There did not seem to be any contaimination of the fluid. The dealership also took samples of tans, diff, and other fluids. No problems there.
The dealership said they checked all the u-joings and CV joints. I may check some of that myself this weekend, but I am a computer guy, not a mechanic, so I am not optimistic about my chances of finding something the service tech missed.

Others beat me to it. Check the U-joints. Or you may have thrown a wheel weight and have a wheel out of balance, which seems more likely, given the age of the vehicle.

My buddy had a wheel bearing go out that sounded like an exhaust leak. I don't know if that helps any but maybe have some check there, the faster we went the quieter it would get

Sent from the Nighthog mobile command unit.

I have the same issue at 30-40 mph. I had the radiator replaced and all fluids changed. Still rumbled lightly. I have balanced and rotated, tie rod ends replaced, alignment done, still does it. Took it to a trans shop and he doesn't seem to think its the trans. What the !*$% is this rumble?!
