Figured I would don one of these... Nothing special right now. I am busy wheeling my vehicle year round.. I miss Colorado for the Winters when its time to put your car or truck under the knife.. I usually still do it right after xmas and take a month off work to do the deeds.

I bought her a year ago and have been slow with progress but I like the way she is right now, there was no real need for heavy mods. I mean I live in Central Texas... The wheeling is not like Colorado or California where I lived before.

So lets start.

2003 Nissan Xterra SE
Ugly Red
80k miles
Third vehicle meant for wheeling and expedition

Suspension
Current:
PML from Calmini and Re-indexing TB
Bilstein 5165's (had them in the garage used)
265/75/16 Goodyear Duratracs
Future:
SAS front 4 link using a VG33 dry sump or a VG30 oilpan 4" lift coils
4" rear lift using lift pack for 3" and one tow stabilizer leaf totalling 4.25"
Cragar Soft 8's (should be really soon)

Exterior
Current:
Some good dings from crawling already
Michael J. Fox pinstripes
Removed mud flaps
Removed crappy steprails
Future:
Full skids my own design
Front and rear bumpers
Durabak the entire vehicle OD Green
Spray bedline the trim pieces black

Interior
Current:
Pioneer BT/USB/CD/MP3/AUX
Polk components front and 3 way rears
Cobra CB
Fabbed Phone dash mount
Rear sleeping/cargo folding box
Future:
Overhead subwoofer/cargo box
5 channel amp

Ok now I have to say I am not into painting my trim and making the interior look all ricey. My X gets used and by that I mean, I bought her a year ago with 50k and have put 30k miles in one year. Trips to Colorado, California and all over Texas.

I will say this, I have owned a few Jeeps, Broncos and heavily modded Cherokee. The Xterra is a surprisingly good wheeling vehicle.

On to the pics.

Love the sleeping box. Do you keep a sleeping pad in there, too?

Aw, selling the FIAT? I just bought a new one this month to give the X a little gas efficient buddy, hahaha!

Thank you for the responses.

GorillaMel - I have a slimline air mattress from Coleman that is 4.5" thick and fits perfectly in the X when inflated. Total height with sleeping box and mattress is about 11.5 inches.

BigTim55 - I am off Thousand Oak and Jones Maltesberger message me your number and I will text ya.
