I was just curious if anyone has ever entered there X in a truck pull. Theres one coming up locally on sept 8 & Ive decided I want to hook clyde up. I know realisticly my wee v6 isntgoing to win but i figure between the gear reduction & my hitch height I should place descent.

Anyone got any tricks? Im going to hang suitcase weights up front and block the rear suspension if the allow it.

Ha I never have seen one at the pulls! Our fair is this week and I'm going to the pulls this saturday so I don't know what this year holds.

Make sure someone gets it on video!!

Ok so we had our pulls tonight and the X would of pulled the sled, nooooowhere! After seeing some of these trucks struggling to pull it I wouldn't bother hooking my X up to if but id love to see you hook your SAS'd X up to it! If you are still confused as to how it works watch in the video. The rectangular weight on the sled by the housing moves towards the truck bogging it down into the dirt making it harder to pull.
My video, sorry about the end guys I didn't realize it my girlfriend told me to late that I was covering it up :(
HD and full screen this ish!

Mini truck pulls, I tell you what some of these things pulled it further than the diesels!! But thats because they have engine swaps!

Well its this weekend and I jsut got my distributor replaced so Ill let yall know and video to follow.
Also I found out some more info. Since its an antique tractor pull they do this at they start the stock class trucks at a 6-8000lbs weight and adjust after the first pull. If theres a full pull they add 1000 if he doesnt get halfway they remove a little. Also the run is shorter than average only 150ft so they gear the sled to come in faster as well.

Ive drug 8000 lbs trucks out of mudholes in the rain before so this should be fun.
