Trailer hitch Vice

Has anyone used or built a trailer hitch vice before? I have an extra drop hitch that I was thinking about flipping over and mounting a vice too. Any recommendations? I was just going to get a smaller vice for harbor freight so it does not matter if it gets damaged or not.

I havent done it but I like the idea. You can keep it in the truck until you need it then stick it in the hitch to use it. Are you thinking of welding the hitch to the vice or bolting?

Bolt vice to hitch. I'm also planning on cross drilling the drop bracket so the vice can be mounted sideways. I just need to figure out a better way to keep all this stuff organized in my vehicle. Thinking of removing a rear seat.

Yea me and a buddy are looking into this as we speak. Lookin to purchase hitch extension and weld a steel plate to it to bolt vice to. Similarly, last year we went up on a trip and seen a dude who had a hitchmount winch, one in the front and one in the rear pretty badass. (no homo)
