Tow trailer

Whats up X nation.

So ive been going back and forth about keeping the 1gen. But trailer and keeping location have been holding me up.

What do you guys use for a tow trailer? Length width? Guys have some advice on what i should be looking for?

Ricel, X owners (and Jeep) from my research seem to like the smaller 1/4 ton M100 or M416. The larger Hummers and hummer types like the larger 3/4 ton M101a or 1.5 ton M102. I like the M416 myself and plan to make one after I get the X where I want her to be.

This is the trailer I use to haul my X around. The X is heavy enough to be at the limit of the trailers hauling weight, but it still works fine.

Carson Trailers

Mines a 16'. New they are around $2k (give or take) but you can usually find them used for around $1k if you look around. Hope that helps.

The real question is what do you need, or want to tow? I tow with mine a lot, but it all depends on what you need to do.

Oh by the way I do dig Caspers trailer, much lighter than your average steel trailer. My camp trailer was built to haul just what I wanted, where ever I wanted to take it. But I also pull car haulers, utility trailers, campers, u-hauls... whatever I need to

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Ricel means trail rig? Meaning Xterra put ON a trailer behind a tow vehicle. I would imagine the average tandem axle car trailer would work fine. Figure the Xterra weighs in at around 5000lb. Hopefully some more trail rig owners will chime in.

To keep the 1st gen and make it a tow rig buy investing money in a trailer.
