Drug out my old bicycle today. Got the shifters working again on it. Brakekleen took the numbers off the display but it's working now.

Took a quick ride up the road on it and it seemed ok. Need to start riding it. I did a bunch of work to it a decade ago and have less than 20 miles on it I'd wager.

Mmm, sounds good. We have tri-burgers every now and then with venison, burger and sausage with a tad of blue cheese 'n jalapenos in the mix, oh man they rock!

That does sound good! I spiced mine with garlic salt, pepper, Worcester (can’t spell it or say it, you know what is), and a touch of brown sugar. Topped with bacon Gouda.

LOL. Not that I know of. I will be replacing a rear axle bearing (again) this weekend. ufcking stupid autozone bullshiat bearing.

Funny story tho.

I replaced both rear axle bearings and seals about 2 months ago. $18 autozone bearings. Drivers side started to whine and make noise last week. So I ordered an OE Dana bearing. RockAuto was out of the seals though. So I went to autozone to get a replacement since I'll likely end up cutting the current one while cutting the shiat bearing off. They didn't have the seal in their computer anymore. Or the bearing. Not just out of stock....but they completely removed it from their system. I guess they found out that they had a problem with them. Gee. I wonder.

My thought with bearings on this truck.

One of the previous owners liked to go to the beach. The first time I took the rear interior of the truck apart, there was sand in EVERYTHING.

And both of the drivers side bearings failed catastrophically. At pretty much the same time. The passenger side bearings were in really good shape when I pulled everything apart. So I think.....on one of these beach adventures, the truck got dipped in the ocean on the drivers side. Salt water destroys everything.
