Breakfast and lunch are protein bars / shake with little to no sugar/ fat. Dinner is veggies with small amount of lean meat. In the book are resipes so I'm not just eating compost every night

To be honest. I don't believe in meal replacement bars and shakes. Your better of managing your portions. Heating healthy options vs going for crap foods and calories in vs calories burned

I do shakes and bars in addition to my normal food BC on workout days I need to consume 3100cals and 230g of protein

That's different. They are not meal replacements. They are supplementing your calories to compensate for your work outs

The biggest issue I see is most people do these caloric deficit routines where they are under eating so they lose weight but it's both muscle atrophy and fatloss.

I am a proponent of cut/bulk or body recomposition

Surprisingly enough not too many new people here today. Only a few I can spot due to terrible etiquette. Had one guy stand in front of my to do curls in front of mirror while I was on the open bench for dB chest press. Told him to step behind me so didn't drop weights on his feet. He learned the hard way when a 95lb dB bounced towards his ankle
