Here is the place to *itch and moan about it. $3.79/gal here. Xterra took $63 last night. Looks like its on its way up already....

Here in my neck of the woods, Southeast Tennessee, it is $3.50 a gallon.

where I live in Canada, I just filled up at $1.33 per litre. there are 4 litres in a US gallon. so I paid $5.32 gallon. damn that is depressing

The average around here is $3.71 right now. Most places are at $3.69, there's a few at $3.77+

As luck would have it, a newbie at work approached me about a ride a few weeks back. He is also from here. It's right on my way to work. First week he filled the tank up. $53. Last week he gave me $25. He is going to fill it up this week. He finally came clean last week and asked me "Are you ok this?" I said "not a problem, it's on my way". Then he mentioned he lost his license. OK Makes sense now. He asked me if $40 a week would be ok till he gets things squared away. I think thats really fair. I am putting in currenty about $50-60/week.

4.29 here currently and told its suppose to sky rocket in the next month or so. highest we paid last year was 5.15
