Payback. One of my favorite movies.
The burned out car in the background of when Mel Gibson (Porter) gets shot in the back by his wife (Deborah Unger) is the same Towncar from Fight Club when Ed Norton is still doing his job at the beginning of the movie and they do the "the father must have been huge. See how the fat is melted to the seat; polyester shirt."

I had a discussion with one of my wife's friends about tire age. The tread was still a good depth, but you could see some hairline cracking and the date was several years ago. They clearly needed to be replaced but it was very hard explaining tire age to someone who has no clue about vehicle maintenance.

Funny you say that. These were cracked all over. Sidewalls badly and the tread. And wobbled down the road like they had split inside somewhere. Some people run tires way past their life, and I'm not one of them.
