I haven’t been this close to literally losing my shiat on someone in a longtime. I was told by a friends recent gf that I come off as an unmotivated person because I don’t have a college degree, collect comics, and have little to no interest in crypto.

was gonna say, I don't have a degree but make more than 99% of my high school graduating class

but I work a lot and have to have a ton of common sense as well as know quite a bit of physics and mechanical engineering

I have way too many college degrees and read/watch comics but don’t collect them (leave that to my oldest kid). In reality none of this has squat to do with what motivation and skills you bring to the job. Diversity is what makes humans so successful (and dangerous too). If everyone wanted to do the same thing we’d be screwed. My best staff are all tinkerers whether they do it with their hands or on a computer.
