Last weekend the radiator in one of our Subarus cracked and was leaking coolant. Bought a good aftermarket rad, and OEM hoses, clamps and coolant for about $300 total and got it installed this past weekend.
For fun I chatted with a dealership and asked them what a radiator install would be for our car. About $490 parts and $560 labor at $160 / hr.

As for the igloos, I spent 4 months living in Qikiqtarjuaq in the 1970s. I can say the people are super nice and also the toughest people I have ever met even if they no longer live in igloos Canada is also the only country I’ve ever been interrogated for 4 hours upon entry. Still everyone was terribly polite and apologized for shining bright lights on my face I pretty much did everything wrong and they still let me in!
