Only other option is ATT fiber, but their offerings aren't transparent enough for my needs. Maybe I should start looking at business grade service...
Define "transparent" in this context. A buddy of mine uses his own Ubiquiti router and found instructions for getting the ATT certs on boot to make it work.

That was a big part of it. I use pfSense for my router, and I know that ATT's "transparent" mode really isn't. When I got the service, I was moving and had other things to worry about than finding out how to deal with ATT.

Plus Spectrum was my provider at my previous house so the transfer was easy. Previous house had no fiber and the ATT offering was expensive pond scum; got double the speed for the same price when I switched.

Supposedly a Nova series in the work for marvel / Disney. Not overly excited. Give me ghost rider, man-thing, etc. Its time for the monsters / super natural with moon knight, morbius, and blade coming into the mix.

My only good choice for internet right now is Comcast and they wont sell me just internet, so my bundle has the basic local channels in low def ( I think its about 20 channels). I turned in the cable box so that saves me 5 bucks a month and downloaded Comcast beta on my Roku, which plays the channels I have on my Comcast account in HD.
I could have Xfinity internet. But I choose not to. That company is so reviled and evil that I can't bear the thought of giving them money. Add to that a "data cap" on my residential hardwired internet one that can be removed through no further effort than giving them more money (ufcking assholes). I have CenturyLink DSL. Yeah, I know. DSL is a bad word on the east coast. But I pay $65/mo for 80/40 and actually get 100/50. And it's been rock solid reliable for the last damn near 4 years.

I can't get ANYWHERE NEAR that kind of upload on Xfinity. Best I can do is 25Mbps on their 1GB plan for over $350/month after paying to remove the "data cap." And since, as I mentioned, an affinity for the high seas. Data caps don't really work for me.

Wow DSL out her gets you at best 8/2 on the east coast. Or at least it did 10 years ago when I had it. I have heard its better now.

When I was still in VA, DSL was definitely the dirty word of internet service. Best you could get was Verizon at 10/5. On a good day.
